Sales Engineer

Job description

As a Sales Engineer you will: 

  •  Support the sales and account team in helping customers sell and implement the API platform  
  •  Understand and establish customer requirements  
  •  Grow trusted client relationships throughout the entire sales lifecycle
  •  Ensure 100% customer satisfaction
  •  Prioritize customer needs, coordinate with support, product, and DevOps
  •  Create technical docs for DevOps, implementations, and services engagements
  •  Help create blog posts, newsletters and communications with webmasters
  •  Support the sales team in implementing and growing all new AWE products in the marketplace


  • 3+ years as a Sales Engineer (preferred), Implementation Consultant, Support Engineer, or Software Developer with experience leading projects and/or working with customers
  • Hands-on experience working with programming languages including: PHP and JavaScript 
  • Strong background/understanding of enterprise integration and API architecture 
  • Understanding of sales processes in a high transaction sales environment
  • Experience selling and working with pure SaaS solutions (experience selling/implementing infrastructure tools is a plus) and proven track record of success driving revenue through technical interactions with prospects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
