With us, you will…

  • Primarily ensure and develop strong policy to protect our IP portfolio (domain names, trademarks, logos, etc.) and to organise/update the latter periodically, in close collaboration with our IT and products teams; follow up on domain squatting and other type of infringements done at the expense of our online products portfolio; work closely with the rest of the legal team, tax team and products teams as regards new IP development (in house or externalised), etc.
  • Manage general legal matters (relating, without limitation, to IT, e-commerce, image right, consumer law, marketing, media), as needed, in order to ensure the legal compliance of the group and the implementation of best practices.

Requirements

What we expect from you…

    • Master Degree in Law/LLMm. Bar exam (CCDL or equivalent) is an asset
    • 4-5 years of post-qualified (relevant) experience. In particular, a combined experience of both law firm, Big Four and/or in-house practice (at least part of it in Luxembourg) would be an asset
    • Ideal candidate with legal proficiency as regards IP, civil and commercial laws and sound knowledge of the Luxembourg and EU legislative environment and procedures as well as sound knowledge of ICT/IT terminology and environment
    • Ideal candidate with excellent drafting and communication skills as regards IP/commercial and civil matters, with both specialists and non-specialists recipients cross-departments (numerous interactions with product owners, project manager, ICT/IT specialists)
    • Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving and good follow-through skills with successful pattern for meeting tight deadlines. Ability to handle confidential information. Ethical standards
    • Capability to work independently, with a client oriented approach (proactivity and accountability driven) and ability to operate and thrive in a high-paced, changing work environment
    • Excellent oral and written command of English. French and/or German as strong assets
